We proactively start and inspect your boat, catch small problems before they become big ones, and check on it after storms so you can relax and enjoy your time on the water.

Boat In Slip

Every month, your Loyalty Program membership includes a comprehensive wellness check for your boat. This means we’ll start and run your engine(s), test battery health, check for water intrusion, and perform a visual inspection after major storms. You’ll also receive exclusive member pricing on diagnostics and services. Our goal is to catch small issues before they become big problems—so your boat is always ready when you are.

  • Engine start & impeller water-flow check. We start each engine, verify cooling water flow, and let it reach operating temp long enough to spot warning signs (overheating, alarms, rough idle).
  • Battery health test. Load/voltage check and visual inspection of cables/terminals; we’ll flag weak or failing batteries early.
  • Water intrusion check. Bilge inspection, pump test, and a quick look for standing water, damp storage, or musty odors.
  • Member pricing perks. $50 off diagnostic fee (standard diag is $50) 10% off services (excludes bottom jobs and repowers)
  • After Storm Wellness Check.When severe weather hits, we verify your boat is present, lines/fenders look safe at a glance, and there’s no obvious damage or taking on water.

What We Look For (At a Glance)

  • Starts / Idle: quick start behavior, odd noises, alarms, smoke, rough idle
  • Cooling: steady tell-tale or raw-water flow indicating the impeller is moving water
  • Electrical: battery voltage/health indications, clean/tight terminals, corrosion
  • Bilge / Leaks: water level, pump function, obvious drips, dampness, mold/mildew
  • Mooring basics (storm checks): boat present, lines not chafing, fenders in place, covers intact and in place

Do I need to be there?

No. As long as we have access details/keys and your slip info, we’ll perform the check and send a report.

What if my boat won’t start or fails a check?

We’ll document what happened and share next-step options. If you choose a repair, your $50 diagnostic discount applies to the diagnostic visit.

Which marinas do you cover?

We service boats in slips at Lake Ray Roberts Marina. Share your slip location during signup and we’ll confirm coverage.

Does 10% off apply to everything?

It applies to most services we perform, excluding bottom jobs and repowers. Parts are billed at standard pricing unless otherwise noted.

Are storm checks guaranteed after any rain?

We trigger wellness checks after significant/impactful weather (high winds, severe storms). For routine rain/showers, your monthly visit handles the check.

Is the program invasive?

No—these are operational and visual checks. We don’t dismantle components during monthly visits. If we find an issue, we’ll recommend proper diagnostics/repair.

How many engines are included?

Your enrolled vessel’s installed engines are included in the same monthly visit. (Let us know if you have twins.)

Can I cancel?

Monthly plan: cancel any time before your next billing date
Annual plan: priced for full-year value and not typically refundable once service begins

The Fine Print (in plain english)

  • Monthly checks are operational/visual and not a substitute for full manufacturer maintenance.
  • Impeller “check” confirms water flow during run-up; it is not a physical impeller inspection.
  • We won’t run engines if conditions are unsafe (fuel odor, severe leaks, etc.); you’ll still get a report and recommendations.
  • Discounts: $50 off diagnostics and 10% off services (excludes bottom jobs and repowers).
  • Storm checks are limited to presence and obvious safety issues from the dock—no haul-out or in-water diving.
